My eyes fell on Isaiah 55 recently and while this chapter is speaking to the Israelites and the invitation to the Lord's Salvation, I encourage you to take time to read the entire chapter when you have time. For today, I am pulling only from verses 10-12.
The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! NLT
This Fall the trees are bursting with color. My eyes go from one to another. I want to capture everyone on film and spend my days just watching them change. I take it all in. May you find time in the remaining days to soak up the sun and colors of Fall. But more importantly, may you spend time with the Son and soak up all that He has planned for you. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you.
